God Answers Job

I have been reading humor. I needed something to lighten my mood. I laughed for quite awhile, and it felt good. Relaxation overwhelmed me. It wasn't dirty humor, but good clean fun.

Back to Job, who has been waiting, for God to answer Him. His friends declare their opinions and Job feels only pain. Job possesses pain on top of pain for Job, from the loss of his children to the loss of his wealth to the loss of his health.

God shows up. He reveals Himself, and He intervenes in their pointless discourse. God speaks in a way that at first Job does not understand, but then he grasps it. God communicates to us as individuals, and He ensures we know what he means!

Remember, Jesus loves you. He bled, died, and rose again so that we could be in Heaven with him. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. 

Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. Forgive me for all of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. Jesus, you are Lord of my life. Father, I give you my heart to do with as you wish. I want Jesus to come into my heart and my life and be Lord. In Christ's Holy Name I pray, Amen.

We Prayed, and God Answered

The power of prayer, friends. We got an amazing special answer to several weeks of prayer. Jesus knew just how to work it out for the good, and uses us his children to do it. Jesus is listening, continue to ask/seek/knock until you get an answer. We have a few other things, so continue to pray for us, but I KNOW God will provide - Jehovah Jireh - and will update as He does. Father God is a wonderful provider. "You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail" (Proverbs 19:21). As our wonderful pastor at Bethel and his wife always say: if you need a bill paid, for instance, praying, "God, we are already thanking you for providing the money, Jesus we know You will, as Jehovah Jireh, meet all our needs and our blessings will flow out so we can then be a blessing to others." God's timing is on God's timing, but know He is right on time and never late. Have a blessed week, friends. One of our blessings was dishes from my grandmother.

The Gospel

I have been praying. I feel at peace to say this. Stop listening to this parade of preachers and Prosperity Gospel preachers on TV/media/social media. It doesn't matter if they say they read their Bible everyday, if their words do not line up with God's truth, they aren't absorbing either the Lord or the truth. Find a pastor who speaks the truth. Also, read your own Bible and pray daily. It is going to be difficult to discern, especially if you are choosing to remain at home at this time and watch sermons online. This is the truth of the Gospel, the only truth upon which you will be saved. Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. Christ rose again after three days. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
